James Mendez is in his third year at J.H. Williams Middle School. He maintained a 4.0 in 6th and 7th grade. He participates in Cross Country, Track, and advanced band.

James is also active in several school clubs. He is the vice president of the Beta and 4-H clubs, an active member of the B&G club, and Lache Pas. Out of school, James holds a leadership position in his Boy Scout troop. One of his biggest passions is WarHammer, and he enjoys spending time participating in Warhammer tournaments. He also recently attained his blue gi at Headkicks Martial Arts. In any free time he has, he enjoys hiking, camping, or anything outdoors.

J.H. Williams Middle School has really been a home for me. I have felt welcomed as part of a family. I am truly honored to receive this recognition. The teachers and staff at J.H. Williams Middle School are always supportive, encouraging, and truly inspire me to be a better student and person.
